About Mozart Techniques

A real tutor, not a pre-recorded course.

Mozart Techniques is a marketplace that connects students directly with verified, one-on-one music and performance tutors. Every tutor on the roster applied with real credentials and was personally reviewed by our team before their profile ever went public - there's no algorithm deciding who you learn from, and no account required to look around first.

What We're Built On

Three principles shape every decision we make about the platform.

Transparency First

You can browse every applied and verified tutor's full profile - photo, city, instrument, credentials, bio, and ratings - before you ever create an account. Sign in only when you're ready to send a request.

A Human Reviews Every Match

Applications, qualifications, and student-tutor matches are all confirmed by a real admin - not an algorithm. It's slower than an auto-match, and that's the point: every pairing gets a second look.

Payment You Can Trust

Lesson payment is held in escrow the moment a tutor logs a completed session, and only released to them once the student confirms it actually happened. No lesson, no release.

What You Get

Everything that happens after you're matched with a tutor.

01

Three ways to learn

Live online lessons over Google Meet, a tutor who travels to you for an in-person lesson, or a session at your tutor's own studio - pick whichever fits, and switch between them anytime.

02

A private chat with your tutor

Every match gets its own chat thread for scheduling, questions, and quick check-ins between lessons - like messaging a person, not filling out a support ticket.

03

A technique video library

Tutors can tag reference clips - finger positioning, breathing technique, a tricky passage - straight into your chat, so you always have something concrete to practice with between sessions.

04

Recorded lessons

Online classes can be posted for rewatching later, and in-person or in-studio sessions can be recorded and shared straight to your chat - so nothing you learned in the room gets lost.

05

Sponsorship for organizations

NGOs and community organizations can subscribe annually and generate access codes for the students they serve, so a whole program can get onto the platform under one sponsor.

Every Discipline, One Roster

A structured path from beginner to expert in every form of performance art.

Voice

Classical, pop, musical theatre, jazz & scat singing.

Instruments

Piano, guitar, violin, drums, and all brass instruments.

Dance

Ballet, hip hop, tap & salsa.

DJing

Beatmatching, mixing, scratching, and digital DJ software.

Production

Audio engineering, mixing, mastering, and acoustics.

How a Tutor Joins

The review process behind every profile you browse.

01

Apply with real credentials

Subjects, qualifications, experience, and optionally a certificate for admin review - plus their real location, so students know exactly where they are.

02

Pass a subject evaluation

A qualification check per subject determines which levels - beginner through virtuoso - a tutor is actually approved to teach.

03

Get approved by an admin

Only after a human reviews the application does a tutor's profile go live on the public roster.

04

Stay accountable

Every completed lesson is rated by the student. A pattern of low ratings flags the account for review, so quality holds up over time.
